I am originally from Northern California, went to undergrad at UC San Diego in Applied Mathematics, and just graduated with my PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from UCLA. My PhD thesis focused on improving the way we represent fresh wildfire smoke in air quality models.

When I am not at work, I enjoy one million hobbies including guitar, ukulele, singing, songwriting, knitting, yoga, rock climbing, and hiking. I love the outdoors, live music, and literally anything horror/spooky (movies, novels, podcasts, you name it!)
